The National Qualifications Framework will become an important element of the following scheme:
1. OCCUPATION SYSTEM |
|
2. QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK |
|
3. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES |
|
4. TESTS AND EVALUATIONS |
In the end, the description of occupations' requirements in the National Occupations System will correspond to the
qualification standards in the National Qualifications Framework.
Qualifications standards represent a "purchase order" placed by the labour market, as expressed in the form of
framework educational programmes (in initial education) and continuing education programmes. The act on recognition
and verification of the results of continuing education does not deal with the issue of full qualifications, which
are closely linked to the relevant fields of education.
The determination of the standards for full qualifications in the National Qualifications Framework will be derived
to allow the creation of educational programmes for initial technical and vocational education.
The NQF will include a system for the evaluation and certification of competences that will allow the certification of the results of education; regardless of the way those qualifications have been obtained. The evaluation standards for full and partial qualifications, which are included in the National Qualifications Framework and co-created in cooperation with social partners, will likewise have a contributing effect.
The NQF will act as a system framework for the recognition of the results of informal education and learning. The required processes have been developed under the project Recognition of the Results of Informal Education and Learning in the Network of Schools Providing Education Services to Adults (UNIV). This is a system project of MŠMT, aimed at:
- Propose and describe a method to verify the results of informal education and learning in the Czech Republic
- Practical Implementation of the proposed mechanics within the network of schools, which provide educational services to adults.
The information about the hitherto development shall be listed on the website of the UNIV project: www.univ.nuov.cz.
