The purpose of expert groups is to resolve various tasks assigned by several field groups, and to prepare documentation for the conceptual group. Expert groups meet ad hoc, depending on the nature of the problem that need be resolved, and are dissolved after the resolution of the problem, for which they have been summoned.
At the time being, there exist four expert groups, acting in response to recent developments in the field of technical and vocational education.
- Expert group to support quality of the Czech technical and vocational education
According to MEYS decision, the group has changed in 2007 to the National network of Quality Assurance in VET
- Expert group to support the development of the National Qualifications Framework of the Czech Republic )
According to the MEYS decision, the group has changed in 2008 to the Consultative Group Coordination Point EQF. The group supports the installation of European tools – European Qualification Framework and European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training
- Expert group to support the involvement of social partners in the Czech technical and vocational education
The group focused mainly on the correlation between field groups and sector councils. Results of its work are reflected in information bulletins about the activities of field groups. Nowadays, the main task of the group is the possibility of field groups transformation.

The group members contributed on creating manuals “Financial literacy”
- Expert group to promote education for sustainable development
Immediately after its foundation, the group joined the working group on education in the field of renewable sources of energy created by the initiative of MEYS. The results of the activity can be used as themes for educators in the process of implementation themes focused on renewable sources and energy savings in primary and secondary education.
